About Liz: Burdens can feel heavy to carry, and healing should not occur in isolation. I am honored to walk alongside you on this journey. As someone who has always valued hearing other people’s stories,

I look forward to hearing yours. Your life may be marked by difficulties, and I aim to empower you to own and reclaim your story. My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a safe, relatable, and compassionate space that nourishes growth and healing. I balance offering practical tools for everyday life with thoughtful, direct feedback to support insight and meaningful change. I value engaging in deep and meaningful work with clients and tailor each session to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

I have experience treating PTSD and trauma, OCD, eating disorders, attachment wounds, identity exploration, and interpersonal difficulties, among other concerns. Incorporating your cultural, religious or spiritual values, humor, interests, and strengths is important to me, as these serve as powerful vehicles for healing and for building a strong therapeutic alliance.

My work is informed by Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic and experiential approaches, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness, and attachment-based therapy, allowing me to meet each client where they are and respond to their unique needs.

I work with individuals ages 12 and older, as well as couples. I am passionate about dismantling mental health stigma within communities of color as a proud Latina woman and believe deeply in uplifting all voices. I provide LGBTQ+ allied, social justice–driven, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care. Congratulations on beginning your journey—I look forward to hearing from you.
