Dr. Marina understands the difficulties of transitioning into emerging adulthood. Stuck between adolescence and early adulthood, young people are feeling the emotional pain of imposter syndrome more than ever. As an Egyptian-American, Marina is also passionate about treating fellow members of the Middle Eastern community and their emotional needs. A second-generation American, Marina enjoys providing culturally centered care for individuals who were raised in the US by their immigrant parents, as a shared and lived experience. Marina is a graduate of the Loma Linda University Doctorate of Marriage and Family program and enjoys providing psychotherapeutic treatment that tackles issues related to depression and anxiety that young adults in a Gen Z world, report struggling with most.
