About Abel:  Abel has been working in the mental health field since 2002 with children, adults, couples, and families. He has a history of working for the County of San Diego with severe and chronically ill adults. He also has eight years teaching adults with intellectual disabilities Dialectical-Behavioral Skills to cope with emotional dysregulation. He has conducted individual, couples, family, and groups sessions. He enjoys his work assisting others find peace and hope to be successful in their current struggle in life. Abel is married and is a father to five adult daughters and a grandfather to three grandchildren.
