    Anita “Annie” Arevalo, AMFT has experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and who are survivors of trauma. Additionally, Annie is an advocate for the LGBTQ community, survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and other marginalized communities. Annie has worked in various mental health settings such as within non-profit organizations, partial hospitalization, inpatient programs, providing long term treatment, short term treatment, pre-wrap around care, and crisis stabilization. Annie creates a warm, accepting, and compassionate environment in the therapy setting while assisting people in achieving greater emotional well-being. Annie prides herself on maintaining intersectional mindfulness and cultural sensitivity while using a Person-Centered and Integrative approach to provide tailored treatment. Annie frequently utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy in sessions. Annie proudly earned her master’s degree at California State University, Fullerton.
