About Shara: Shara enjoys treating those she serves through authenticity and connection. Utilizing multiple therapy styles to decrease symptoms such as intrusive thoughts, nightmares, anxiety, depression, and phobias, Shara believes that the road to total wellness and balance is translated into her client’s personal lives through modeled healthy connection within the therapeutic relationship. A graduate of California State University Long Beach, Shara’s skills and talents are shared both between the clinical and academic realms of psychology. In addition to many years of experience as a therapist, Shara has published graduate research, is in the process of earning a doctoral degree, and is an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University.
